WEEK 7 ASSIGNMENT-Summarize your experience participating in the community

Hello everyone! How was your week? For me, I went back to my hometown, Korea, for only five days because my sister had a wedding! My week was exhausting. For this week’s assignment, I have joined one sports group and UCR group. Since I have been riding horse for more than 10 years as a hobby, I wanted to listen to other horse riders’ experiences, so I decided to join horseback riding group. Also, I wanted to know much information about UCR, so I decided to join in a group, and get new information fast. While I joined them and wrote some comments, I felt some strengths but also some weaknesses. Furthermore, I also joined 2018 Winter Olympics Pyeongchang. When I went back to Korea for a short time, I went to Pyeongchang to see the Olympics lounge. I couldn't see the game because it was too expensive and didn't register before, but the Olympic lounge was also great! So, I joined the this olympic group to talk about results of games and share my thoughts with another.

First of all, the strength would be accumulating more information. Due to the fact that I get to explain my thoughts and experiences to others, people reply me back with their own experiences. That way, I get to know more issues about one particular event. I get to have more broader ideas base on it. If this was a business, perhaps I get to have enormous amounts of different ideas from people, and I get to increase my business techniques. However, for weaknesses, there might be some people who are pathetic. They are making silly and useless comments instead of helping others with their thoughts. Fortunately, this thing did not happen to me, but all the people can freely join the group and participate, weird people can be joined too.

    1. Thank you Yoojeong! When I am up on the horse's back, I am able to breathe the fresh air that I haven't in my height. LOL It is a really fun activity, so you can try it later on!

  3. Hi! I love horse ridding as well, and I really miss it actually. You should be well advanced by now, and I was actually wondering if this sport is popular in Korea like it is in my home country (France)? I'm curious about that. Have a nice week! :)
